Details of a Housing Options Officer

• Hours of work: 37 hours- Monday- Friday
• Pay Rate: Up to £27 Per Hour
• Duration: 3 Months on going
• Location: Hybrid 4 days in the office

Responsibilities of a Housing Options Officer

Provision of housing advice and assistance to households who are homeless or threatened with homeless in accordance with Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996, including the determination of homelessness, eligibility, priority need, local connection, and intentional homelessness. Also, the conducting of casework, issuing of statutory decision letters, recording of outcomes, negotiating with landlords, health and other support agencies, and production of personal housing plans.

Requirements of a Housing Options Officer

• Previous experience in Housing
