GSL Education are seeking a committed and adaptable Cover Teacher to join one of our client schools in Barnet through planned and unplanned absences. If you're an experienced Cover Teacher, this opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact while gaining versatile teaching experience.

As a Cover Teacher, you will deliver pre-set lesson plans across various subjects, ensuring continuity in students' learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment. This role is ideal for educators with strong classroom management skills, a flexible mindset, and a passion for fostering pupil development.

Responsibilities of a Cover Teacher:

Delivering engaging lessons in line with the school's curriculum and policies.
Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a conducive learning environment.
Supporting students with their educational and social development.
Collaborating with school staff to ensure the smooth running of lessons.
Following safeguarding procedures to uphold pupil welfare.
Required Qualifications for a Cover Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, or significant teaching experience in UK schools.
A strong knowledge of the national curriculum across key stages.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to adapt quickly to new environments and teaching requirements.
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new check.
