We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundworks SSTS to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role, ensuring that groundwork is completed to the highest standards. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage tasks effectively and supervise site activities when necessary.

Responsibilities

Carry out groundwork tasks including excavation, drainage, and laying foundations.
Manage men, site and safety paperwork.
Manage site cleanliness and organisation to promote a safe working environment.
Provide guidance on best practices.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
Conduct regular inspections of work areas to identify potential hazards or issues.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any discrepancies to management.Skills

Strong ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience in supervising teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Proficient in the use of construction tools and machinery relevant to groundwork activities.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations on-site.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and management.
