Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Air Export Coordinator for a well-established busy Freight Forwarder based in the Manchester area.

Key duties and responsibilities:

* Quotations.

* Producing all documentation for export shipments.

* Completion of customs declarations.

* Track shipments.

* Follow up on Pre-Alerts / Post Flights

* Authenticating supplier invoices.

* Completing customer invoicing within revenue recognition policy.

* Adding accurate costs to the system to ensure financial reports correct.

* Recording correspondence in eDocs.

* Dealing with queries, both shipment and invoice.

* Promotion of additional services to clients.

* Ensuring all internal SOP's are followed correctly.

* Awareness of Deferment and Government Gateway accounting procedures.

* Ensuring any tasks within Workflow are actioned quickly.

Person Specification:

* Good communication skills

* Good organization skills and effective time management & working practices

* Manage time effectively

* Commercial awareness

* Attention to detail

* IT Literate in Microsoft Office

* Problem solving

* Applicant would ideally have 2-3 years recent relevant industry experience with previous involvement in Air Exports from quote to delivered.

* CW1 experience an advantage but not essential as full training and support will be provided.
