Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic part-time Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Sheffield working witihn a KS2 class. This role requires a dedicated educator with a passion for inspiring young learners, for either 2 or 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

Support class teaching in delivering engaging and effective lessons following the KS2 national curriculum.
Prepare pupils for SATs by reinforcing key skills in literacy, numeracy, and comprehension.
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing support where needed to ensure individual needs are met.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and growth.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student learning and development.

Requirements

Proven experience working within Key Stage 2,
A solid understanding of the primary curriculum and SATs preparation.
Strong classroom management skills and a flexible, positive approach to teaching.
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
