We are seeking a CAD Technician (or a Senior CAD Technician) to work for a successful agricultural machinery manufacturer in Scunthorpe.

Your primary role will be to provide technical draughting expertise in the Sales and Design Team. You will produce 2D building and mechanical plant drawings including:

· System flow diagrams

· Sales layout drawings

· General Assembly drawings

· Resource schedules to support site drawings packs and manufacturing drawings

The role will require participation in all project stages. As a small business versatility is essential and you may be required to undertake the following tasks:

· Produce or support the production of quotations

· Undertake site visits to survey existing buildings and plants

· Gather technical information and specification from external engineers and suppliers

· Provide technical support to installation teams ensuring the provision of correct information, equipment and materials to enable the timely completion of work.

· Provide technical support for technicians and customers throughout harvest

Your Skills and Capabilities

You will have at least five years practical 2D draughting experience (preferably in AutoCAD) within a relevant engineering or construction environment.

· It is essential you have a comprehensive 2D drawing capability in AutoCAD supported by a formal qualification

· It is highly desirable you have a good knowledge of agricultural grain systems and processes
