Academics are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Nursery Manager to join a wonderful nursery in Streatham. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for early childhood education and a strong leadership background to make a real difference in the lives of young children.

About the Role: Nursery Manager - Streatham

As Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in both the operational and educational aspects of the nursery. The role will be a mix of office-based responsibilities and time spent working directly within the nursery setting. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing a team of staff, ensuring the nursery is compliant with all regulations, and fostering a positive, nurturing environment for children to thrive.

Key Responsibilities: Nursery Manager - Streatham

Manage and lead the nursery team, ensuring high-quality care and education is provided at all times.
Oversee the day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling, budgets, and supplies.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Build strong relationships with parents and maintain open communication channels.
Develop and implement engaging learning activities, monitoring children's progress and providing support where needed.
Manage recruitment, training, and development of staff.
Conduct performance appraisals and provide ongoing coaching and support.
Handle administrative tasks such as record-keeping, reports, and updates for stakeholders.Requirements: Nursery Manager - Streatham

A recognised qualification in Early Years Education (e.g. Level 3 or above).
Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or in a similar leadership role within a childcare setting.
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and Ofsted regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both in an office environment and within the nursery setting.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
