Catering Engineer

My client, a growing small business within the commercial catering industry, is looking for a talented Catering Engineer to join their team. This full-time position will cover the South Coast and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

Carry out maintenance, repair, fault finding, and occasional installation of catering, wash-ware, and refrigeration equipment (e.g., restaurant and bar appliances, cook line equipment, and ware washing).
Field-based role covering the South Coast and surrounding areas.
Work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
Be on call for weekend call outs (rota) currently 1 in 5.
Overtime hours available.

Requirements:

Commercial Catering Equipment industry experience.
Proficient in a specific field (e.g., Gas, Electric, or Refrigeration). Gas qualifications COMCAT 1, 2, 3 & 5, and LPG preferable.
Full UK driving licence.
Ideally living in the Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset, or Wiltshire area.
Willingness to learn and ability to think outside the box.
Team player with good communication skills.
Experience working on a variety of sites from small coffee shops to marine vessels and everything in between.

Package:

Salary: £45,695.00 - £48,165.00 per year
