The Chartered Building Surveyor Role

As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you will take on a pivotal role in providing high-quality consultancy services across a wide array of projects. This includes dilapidations, technical due diligence, contract administration, and planned preventative maintenance, ensuring a broad and rewarding workload.

In addition to project delivery, you will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members, enhancing your leadership skills and contributing to the team's ongoing success.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering an extensive range of Building Surveying services for commercial clients.
Managing projects such as dilapidations, technical due diligence, contract administration, and planned preventative maintenance.
Building and maintaining robust client relationships.
Supervising and mentoring junior surveyors to foster growth and development.
Contributing to the continued success and expansion of the Building Consultancy team.

The Ideal Chartered Building Surveyor will have

Qualifications: MRICS accreditation.
Experience: Strong background in commercial Building Surveying, including professional instructions.
Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client management abilities.
Attributes: Organised, methodical, and commercially aware, with a diligent approach to work.
Desirables: Experience in construction monitoring, reinstatement cost assessments, or party wall matters is advantageous but not essential.
