Scope of the Job
With the support, the Interim Peripatetic Regional Head of Operations will oversee the delivery of the highest levels of care, focus on continuous improvement and the implementation of best practice. Ensure the delivery of outstanding outcomes and provides strong leadership to the Service Managers and the wider teams. Will also support the delivery of strategic growth and change whilst ensuring service delivery to every person we support is exceptional. The role will ensure services are delivered in a way that puts people we support at the centre of their care and support, promoting rights, choice, dignity, diversity and value for money, meeting all organisational and statutory requirements and delivered in compliance with Care Quality Commission. The role will provide exemplary leadership for managers and employees to ensure standards of performance are maintained and continuously improved wherever possible.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

As an Interim Peripatetic Regional Head of Operations, you will be required to support any of the regional operations within the South of England, spanning from Oxfordshire to Devon and across to Kent.
Provision of high quality, value for money services through the delivery of efficient commercial led practices
To regularly review and act on performance data and KPI's to support decision making to continuously improve the services we provide
Where the service(s) are separately registered with CQC, you will apply successfully for registration as the Registered Manager and take responsibility for maintaining compliance with regulations. To ensure that the appropriate regulatory notifications are made where necessary.
Ensure services are delivered in accordance with appropriate risk assessments, complying with regulatory, statutory and contractual requirements for the time being in force.
Ensure all services that you are responsible for adhere to the overall organisational strategy and inform future planning
Ensure the delivery of the regions strategic business plan is consistent with local demands and priorities.
Be accountable for the monitoring, assessment and reporting of the quality of the services provided.
Be accountable for ensuring audit recommendations are monitored, reviewed and implemented
Ensure complaints are acted upon and actions are monitored, evaluated and implemented.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies, statutory requirements and local authority protocols to uphold SeeAbility duty of care.
Be accountable for safe working practices ensuring the availability of appropriate equipment and resources
Evaluate accident and incident reports to identify trends with action as appropriate.
To ensure the proper application of SeeAbility policies and standardsKnowledge & qualifications

QCF Level 5 - Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Demonstrable understanding and knowledge of the requirements of working in Health & Social care
Understanding of the requirements of the Care Quality Commission
A full, UK driving licenseExperience

Senior management level experience within the social care sector
Experience of effectively managing change and delivering service improvements
Experience of collaborating with local Authorities, Commissioners, families and circles of support
Experience of working with people with learning disabilities
Exemplary leadership that develops high performing teams through a coaching and collaborative approach
Effective budget and resource management skillsYou will be required to support where the need is across any of the four southern regions, sometimes the need will be planned in advance at other times there may be an immediate need to support a region.  You will work with the current Regional Heads of Operations in this is unique opportunity to drive service development in order to promote independence, choice and control as well as the achievement of individual goals, however small or large, each and every day. It's also an exciting time to join us as SeeAbility embarks on a new strategy to deliver on growth and change.
Working in partnership with the Regional Heads of Operations and our external partners and internal multi disciplinary teams you'll oversee the delivery of the highest levels of care and support, focusing on continuous improvement and the implementation of best practice, whilst ensuring service delivery to every person we support is the best it can be.
