We are looking for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to assist on a project based in Leicestershire. This is an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension. Day Rate: £300 - £400
About the Role:
A large part of this role involves processing a backlog of payments, so we are open to considering candidates with experience from a variety of sectors, including construction, industrial, civils, and groundworks.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Freelance Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
1. Processing and managing outstanding payments with accuracy and efficiency.
2. Preparing and managing cost estimates, budgets, and valuations.
3. Reviewing contracts and procurement documentation to ensure compliance.
4. Managing variations and agreeing on final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
5. Monitoring project costs to ensure alignment with budgets and financial targets.
