Position: Senior Nursery Practitioner
Salary: Up to £28,000, depending on experience


Are you passionate about early childhood education and ready to take on a leadership role? We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner to join our client's Early Years team, where children thrive through play, learning, and outdoor exploration.

Requirements:
  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
  • Proven experience working in a nursery or early years setting, with leadership experience desirable
  • A deep understanding of child development and EYFS framework
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when needed
  • Passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development
  • Lead and mentor staff, ensuring high standards of care and education across the nursery
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children to explore, play, and grow
  • Build strong relationships with children and parents providing regular feedback on children's progress
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS standards and all relevant policies and procedures
  • Support the day-to-day management of the nursery, including staff rotas and room organization
