About the Role:

Wills Consultants are looking for a Engineer for an industry leader in UPVC recycling based in Wellingborough.

The Engineer will receive:

* Basic salary of £44,000

* Shift allowance

Hours of Work: 2 shift rotation: 6am - 2.30pm / 1.30pm - 10pm Monday to Friday.

Call out between 10pm - 6am Monday to Friday and Weekends (48 hours) on a 4-weekly rota.

As a Engineer you will be responsible for:

* Minimising production downtime by carrying out routine scheduled maintenance (PPMs) and responding to unplanned breakdowns within the stipulated time frames

* Responding to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner

* Carrying out all work according to Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, SOPs, Dynamic Risk Assessments, and company policies and procedures

* Maintaining a safe and tidy workshop

* Ensuring parts are booked out correctly to help control stock levels in stores

Requirements: As a Engineer you will need:

* Electrical qualification - 18th/19th edition or equivalent.

* Experience working with production process machinery, e.g., granulators, belt conveyors, hammermills, extrusion machines, colour separators, gearboxes, bearings, rollers, shafts, etc.

* To have the ability to diagnose faults and to test, repair, and maintain electrical equipment and are able to read and understand electrical drawings.
