Are you a patient and caring individual with experience supporting children with additional needs? A welcoming mainstream primary school in West Bromwich is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 1 pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis.

You'll be working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to help children access learning, develop their communication skills, and manage behaviour in a nurturing and structured environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a child's early school journey.

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and group support to KS1 pupils with special educational needs
Adapt learning materials and activities to meet children's needs
Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Work closely with teaching staff and parents to monitor progress
Support with classroom routines and transitions throughout the dayCandidate Requirements:

Previous experience supporting children with SEN (ideally in KS1 or EYFS)
Calm, resilient, and positive approach
