Resident Doctor - Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Location: Central London (near Regents Park)
Contract Type: Part-Time (1 or 2 x 12-hour shifts per week)
Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 p/annum pro-rata, dependent on skills and experience

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Resident Doctor to join a renowned Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) based in central London. You'll be part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team delivering intensive care to children from infancy to 18 years of age, covering a range of complex medical and surgical cases.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Delivering high-quality care in a 9-bed PICU and 5-bed HDU.

* Managing pre- and post-operative patients with complex needs, including orthopaedics, cardiac, spinal, and neurological cases.

* Responding to emergencies including airway management, intubation, and chest drains.

* Collaborating closely with specialist consultant teams.

* Contributing to clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

What You'll Bring:

* GMC registration and completion of Foundation Training.

* Minimum 3 years post-graduate paediatrics experience, including PICU.

* ALS certification and strong paediatric emergency/ICU skills.
