About the job you're considering​
* Producing software training material/libraries of best practices to educate others in the use of the software and addressing training materials backlog.
* Performing pre-testing of future release software prior to exposure to end users.
* Writing of software release supporting documentation.
* Software deployment and maintenance support.
* Answering questions raised by users of the software regarding how to accurately use the software.
* Proactive mindset to solve software problems and answer software questions when the answer is not yet known.
* Freedom to use blue-sky thinking and process improvement activity to encourage software development.
* The position is a remote working position however occasional trips to Barrow-in-Furness may be required if possible.
Your Role
* Comprehensive experience using Siemens software packages in particular Siemens Capital and NX.
* Experience using PLM software in particular Siemens Teamcenter.
* Experience integrating the above software packages.
* Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for end user upskilling on software tools.
* ability to share knowledge to educate others in the use of Siemens Capital, NX and Teamcenter software.
* Acting as a training consultant to provide support to users working with the above software.

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. ​
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.​
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.​
