Reed Further Education is on the lookout for skilled Maths Lecturers to teach GCSE level at a prominent college in Birmingham. This temporary ongoing role is set to start in September 2024, offering both full-time and part-time hours to suit your schedule. Day-to-day of the role:

• Design and deliver engaging GCSE Maths curriculum to students of varying abilities.
• Assess student work, provide feedback, and support students in achieving their learning objectives.
• Utilise a range of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and maximise student engagement.
• Monitor and record student progress, preparing them for examinations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop new teaching materials and resources.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A recognised teaching qualification in Maths or a related subject.
• Proven experience teaching GCSE Maths.
• Strong understanding of the current Maths curriculum and examination requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and encourage students to excel academically.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
• An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
