Ashberry are working with a Bradford based charity that is looking for a Homeless Hostel Team Leader to support the move on of vulnerable clients into long term accommodation. The role is initially offered on a temporary basis with scope to become permanent.

Responsibilities of the Hostel Team Leader include:

• Working alongside Local Authorities Housing Options service, utilising the online referrals and allocations process

• Providing a dual function of housing related support and intensive housing management to service users
• Providing and promoting practical and emotional support in order to assist in the development of life skills, and enabling service users to move on into independent accommodation

• Line managing the Supported Housing Officer team working within temporary accommodation, including hostel staff
• Providing monthly and quarterly reports to Heads of Service
• Providing telephone support in emergencies

Essential criteria of the Hostel Team Leader include:

• Enhanced DBS
• Experience within a similar position
• UK driving license and access to own vehicle
