Job Title: Bendi Driver

Pay rate: £13.70 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 02:00 PM

We are hiring for a Bendi Driver to undertake forklift driving and warehouse duties in Coalville. This is distribution centre with a supportive team environment, and you will be an important part of this team helping to ensure stock is moved and organised efficiently and safely.

You will be working as part of the Warehouse and Logistics team and will be responsible for:

Operating Bendi forklift trucks to move stock and materials across the warehouse
Handling the loading and unloading of goods using the correct tools and techniques
Accurately picking and preparing items for dispatch or internal movement
Carrying out routine safety checks and maintenance on forklift equipment
Following company safety policies and reporting any hazards or issues promptly
Keeping workstations and storage areas clean, organised, and safe
Supporting warehouse staff and supervisors to meet daily workflow goals
Skills and Experience of a Bendi Driver:

As a Bendi Driver, you need to have experience with:
Operating a Bendi (pivot steer) forklift
Working in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment
It would be beneficial to the Bendi Driver role if you also had:

A valid Bendi license or in-date refresher certificate
Proven experience in a forklift driving role
Good communication skills, in particular with written and verbal English
Access to reliable transport - the client's site is accessible via car, public transport, walking or cycling
A good understanding of health & safety procedures in a warehouse
Flexibility to assist in general warehouse duties when required

Our client is a large goods distributor that is looking for a Bendi Driver to join their team on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person. This client has a large distribution centre with facilities such as a canteen, smoking area, free car parking, and locker room.
