Interim Chief Accountant

£400 - £500 Per Day - 6 Months Assignment. (Wokingham)

We are looking for an amazing Interim Chief Accountant to join a large and complicated business that is going through incredible growth.

This role would suit an immediately available financial accountant who is free and ready to commit to a 6-month interim assignment.

This could suit an interim financial accountant, group accounting, reporting accountant, finance manager or controller.

We are looking for fun and people-focused finance professionals who have good energy and pace.

The Role

Although this is an accounting role, there is good variety and exposure to process improvement, systems and projects.

The successful Interim Chief Accountant will be involved in the following:

• Can start ASAP.
• Year-end accounting.
• Liaise with the internal and external audit functions.
• Continually look at process improvement.
• Support on controls, risk and compliance.
• Balance sheet review.
• P&L reviews.
• Accruals & Prepayments.
• Preparation of Statutory Accounts.
• Month-end reporting and accounting.
• Be an innovative thinker how can we make things better?
• Be analytically strong and have a good systems grounding.
• Act as a true culture champion.
• Work with the wider finance team to improve processes, controls and system.

Your Profile

We are looking for a bright and proactive interim who can really go in and hit the ground running.

This could suit an Interim Accountant, Finance Manager or Financial Controller.

£400 - £500 per day.
