My client is looking to appoint a Concrete Plant Supervisor on a temporary basis, which for the right candidate, will go into a permanent role.

The role is based in Motherwell and the client is looking for the successful candidate to supervise and operate a RMX plant.

Duties include

Carrying out general housekeeping duties
Managing contractors that visit the site
Operate the concrete batching plant, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
Receive, process, and check raw materials (cement, sand, aggregate, water, etc.) ensuring accurate proportioning and stock levels.
Oversee the batching process to ensure accurate mixing and delivery of concrete.
Carry out necessary tests and quality control measures on the concrete mix.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including daily housekeeping and maintenance of the batch plant and equipment.
Undertake regular safety checks and inspections of the batching plant and equipment.
Maintain detailed records of batching activities.

Must have experience of running a ready-mix concrete plant
Experience of concrete batching
Experience of Contractor management
IOSH Health and Safety Qualification
