Job Description: Sushi Chef

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sushi Chef to join our new sushi restaurant. The ideal candidate will have experience in filleting fish, specifically Salmon, and will receive full training for other duties.

Shifts:

* Two positions: 4:00 AM - 12:00 Noon

* One position: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

The primary focus of these shifts will be prepping sushi and maki, ensuring everything is ready for service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare sushi rolls, maki, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes according to recipes and customer preferences.

* Ensure the quality and presentation of sushi dishes meet the restaurant's high standards.

* Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and utensils.

* Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of sushi orders.

* Assist in preparing sushi platters and coordinate with the catering team for special events.

Qualifications:

* Experience in filleting fish (Salmon is essential).

* Proficiency in handling knives and other kitchen equipment safely.

* Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient food preparation.

* Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
