About the Role

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. You will lead a team, provide strategic financial insights, and play a key role in decision-making to support the organisation's growth.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting

* Prepare and present financial statements and management reports

* Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and industry standards

* Lead and mentor the accounting team, ensuring strong financial control processes

* Manage cash flow, financial planning, and risk assessment

* Work closely with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations

* Liaise with auditors, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies

What We're Looking For

* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience

* Proven experience in a senior accounting role, ideally as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or Chief Accountant

* Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax regulations, and compliance

* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

* Ability to analyse financial data and provide strategic insights

* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
