Are you passionate about technology and education? Do you have the expertise to inspire the next generation of computing professionals? A Richmond-based academic institution is seeking a dedicated Computing Lecturer to join their team on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year in July 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons, aligned with the relevant curriculum.
  • Complete assessment tasks for each unit, supporting the standardisation process within the teaching team.
  • Teach coding and programming, essential to the role.
  • Provide guidance and support to students to help them succeed in their studies.
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in the specified subject areas.

  • Strong knowledge of the computing curriculum, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality lessons.

  • Experience in designing, delivering, and assessing courses in the following areas:

    BTEC Level 1/2 Extended Certificate in Information and Creative Technology:

    • U08: Mobile Apps Development

    BTEC Level 2 Esports Diploma:

    • U06: Design an Esports Game

    BTEC Level 3 Foundation and Extended Diploma in IT:

    • U05: Data Modelling
    • U09: IT Project Management

    Foundation Diploma in Computing:

    • U01: Principles of Computer Science
    • U14: Computer Games Development

    OCN Level 3 Access to Computing:

    • Introduction to Robotics

    A Level in Computing
