Salary: £55000 - £65000/annum competitive plus package

Clearfield Recruitment have partnered with a leading specialist in suspended ceilings, partitions, and interior fit-outs, with a strong reputation for quality and excellence in the construction industry. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contracts Manager to join the team based out of their Essex office. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing company and manage high-profile projects across various sectors.

The key requirements of this position will include;

* Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of multiple contracts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

* Act as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

* Coordinate and manage site teams, including subcontractors and in-house personnel, ensuring health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to.

* Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources, making adjustments as necessary to achieve project goals.

* Conduct regular site visits to ensure progress is on track and resolve any issues that may arise.

* Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting project performance, risks, and opportunities.

* Assist in the tendering process by providing input on project scope, costs, and timelines.

The ideal applicant will possess the following skills and experience;

* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, or similar role within the construction industry, preferably with experience in suspended ceilings, partitions, or interior fit-outs.

* Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and relevant legislation.

* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage multiple teams effectively.

* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

* Proficiency in project management software and tools.

* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
