Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a background in managing and designing LV/HV networks for complex, multi-disciplinary projects. The role involves overseeing electrical aspects across various site projects, including full boiler replacements, heat source pumps, and integrating charging points for Electric Vehicles (EVs) using renewable energy sources.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design or manage the design of LV/HV networks for multi-disciplinary complex projects.
* Supervise and coordinate other electrical or MEP engineers.
* Ensure compliance with electrical engineering standards and regulations.
* Provide technical expertise and support throughout project lifecycle.
* Liaise with stakeholders, clients, and project teams to ensure project goals are met.
Requirements:
* Electrical Engineering degree is preferred; however, candidates with solid experience as electrical engineers will also be considered.
* Proven experience in designing or managing the design of LV/HV networks.
* Experience in managing or supervising other electrical or MEP engineers.
* Background working for a Design Consultant and/or a Design & Built Contractor is advantageous.
* Experience in large infrastructure projects such as railways or airports is a plus.
* Familiarity with solar PV farms or Electric Vehicle charging stations is desirable.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder liaison skills, with previous experience in client liaison or working client-side.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Professional certification or membership in relevant engineering bodies.
* Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
