Staff Nurse - RGN

Rotation of day and night shifts

40 hours per week

Hourly Rate:

• Days - £20.50
• Nights - £21.50

Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join their dynamic healthcare team at their unique and tranquil place of healing & recovery. The service provides the perfect environment for respite, post-operative rehabilitation, convalescence care and are leaders in knee & hip recovery.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with a valid UK NMC Pin
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a post-operative or hospital setting
• Strong knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
• Willingness to work a mix of day and night shifts as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and procedures
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitoring and documenting patient vital signs and medical conditions
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports
• Adhering to infection control and safety protocols at all times
• Applying post-operative care skills as required
