The Role:
Are you a motivated, empathetic individual with a desire to positively impact young lives? As a Mentor at this PRU, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting their students through their educational and personal development. You will work closely with a small group of students, building strong, trusting relationships and providing the encouragement and assistance they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one mentoring to students, helping them to set and achieve personal and academic goals.
Develop and implement individual support plans tailored to each student's needs.
Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
Encourage and motivate students to engage in their education and personal development.
Assist with behavior management, helping students to develop positive coping strategies.
Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records.Qualifications and Experience:

Experience working with young people, preferably in an educational or youth work setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
