Private Client Paralegal

Prestigious UK law firm seeks a Private Client Paralegal to join their award-winning Private Wealth team in London on an initial 12-month fixed term contract.

• Salary to £30,000
• Hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days remote)
• 9.30am to 5.30pm

Private Client Paralegal Key Responsibilities:

• Collating information for assets and liabilities
• Draft Legal Statements and basic inheritance tax accounts
• Carry out Bankruptcy searches / Land Registry searches / ID for beneficiaries / Companies House searches / will searches / asset searches
• Chasing HMRC and the Probate Registry by phone
• E-Filing and where required helping with paper files / ring binders
• Help keep precedents and probate checklist up to date
• Reviewing / closing client files

Private Client Paralegal Key Skills & Requirements:

• Paralegal experience gained within a Private Client / Private Wealth / Probate department
• Competent on all MS Office packages
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pick up new systems and procedures quickly
