Intermediate/ Mid level Lighting Designer (West London)

£40,000 - £50,000 basic

Our client, a well established and expanding Lighting Design Consultancy, is seeking an experienced and creative lighting designer to work from their London studio.

You will be working exclusively on high-end luxury projects (including hospitality, residential and heritage) throughout the world with many Global brand names.

As an experienced scheme designer your responsibilities will include producing cad drawings, luminaire specifications, lighting control schedules, 3d lighting calculations and will be actively involved in client and site meetings.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years + experience in lighting design, able to work autonomously in a creative and efficient manner and able to produce everything from concept to completion. You should be able to thrive in a small, dynamic team and relish the chance to take responsibilities using your pro-active, problem solving skills. Other key attributes are attention to detail, able to prioritise and schedule workload, react well under pressure to meet deadlines. You should be proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign and MS Office. Knowledge of AutoCAD and DIALux/Evo (or Relux) is required.
