Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Heating and Ventilation Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Heating and Ventilation Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Heating and Ventilation Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Heating and Ventilation Engineer will be responsible for:
* Deliver top-notch building maintenance services to our clients.
* Work alongside a team of multi-skilled technical support staff.
* Oversee contractors and sub-contractors, ensuring all work meets statutory obligations.
* Adapt to varying work hours and tasks with a proactive attitude.
* Prioritize tasks effectively while supporting your colleagues.
* Conduct maintenance and installations as per contract requirements.
* Maintain assets according to O&M Manuals and adhere to Health & Safety legislation.
* Keep building assets functional and operational, addressing repairs promptly.
* Anticipate issues, diagnose faults, and record all work accurately.
* Ensure all equipment and plant areas are clean, safe, and secure.
To be successful for this Heating and Ventilation Engineer role you must have:
* Time served apprenticeships or NVQ qualification in Heating and Ventilation or a mechanical discipline.
* A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
* In-depth knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation and building statutory compliance.
* Ability to carry tools and equipment (up to 20kg), work at heights, and occasionally cover night shifts.
* Full UK Driving License: Essential for the role
* Comfortable working at heights
