Lead Software Developer (DV Eligibility)

About the Role

As a Lead Software Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining sophisticated software solutions. You will be involved in designing and implementing high-quality applications, mentoring team members, and supporting customers in using the software effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop software for network security applications.

*

Implement signal, image, and data processing applications in C/C++.

*

Design and develop user interfaces using HTML, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

*

Provide support and training to customers on software usage.

*

Mentor and lead junior developers.

About You

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual who is capable of working independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

*

3+ years of software development experience, preferably in C/C++.

*

Strong academic background, with a 1st or 2:1 degree (or PhD) in a numerate discipline, and typically A*/A's in A-level Maths and Physics.

*

Experience with source control systems such as Subversion.

*

Understand the importance of clear, efficient software design.

*

Familiarity with using and configuring Linux systems.

*

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
