I am seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team on the South Coast.

Working under and guided by the Managing Quantity Surveyor. Therefore the successful applicant must show excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Management of commercial and contractual relationships, supporting clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Maximise the profitability of contracts and achieve optimum cashflow.
- Oversee project details including design, buying and contract teams.
- Attend meetings to ensure timely completion.
- Negotiate and manage accounts and applications.
- Site visits regularly.
- Monitor progress and manage expectations internally and externally.

Qualifications:
- Hold relevant qualifications, degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong educational background with analytical, numeracy and literacy skills.
- Demonstrate an understanding of cost and value.
- Good understanding and knowledge of the JCT suite of contracts.
- Self motivated, keen eye to detail, general interest of the construction processes.
- Valid driving licence.
- High depth of experience in a commercial role with in construction, preferably the facades/cladding sector.

Start: March 2025

Salary: £60k+
