Our Client has an immediate requirement for a Senior Engineer to lead team of site engineers on Heavy Civils works. Experience in Water, Rail, NRSWA and Utilities is preferred. High level of expertise in setting out and as-built record keeping to guide site engineers is required. Good knowledge of producing short term programmes, RAMS, ITP's. Inspection of works under ITPs
SMSTS Temporary works S or C preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

Meeting with clients to find out their requirements
Producing plans and estimating budgets and timescales
Discussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of business contracts
Agreeing budgets and timescales with the clients
Managing construction schedules and budgets
Dealing with any unexpected costs
Attending site meetings to monitor progress
Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managers
Working with third parties to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities
Making sure construction projects meet agreed technical standards
Liaising with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams and the client's own representatives
Overseeing final accounts at the end of a project

Degree or HND qualified in Construction or Project Management. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
Working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 / FIDIC contracts desirable.
