Work with a market leading optical switching tech comapany! as the Programme Manager work with the Engineering & Development Director, your role will be pivotal in planning and executing a portfolio of development projects to achieve business goals related to schedule, cost, and quality. High expectations on delivery and will require related technical knowledge. Will need extensive Programme Management experience and need to confidently lead, understand and speak about the technology confidently.

The engineering department drives the business by transforming new product ideas from concept to volume manufacture. You will need experience in managing systems, mechanical, electronic, software, process, test engineering and manufacturing.  
Products providing the highest performance in optical layer connectivity and Networking solutions for Data Centre Colocation, Telecommunications, Government, and Test & Measurement markets.

Manage a portfolio of Engineering projects, prioritizing key projects.
Plan projects from concept to manufacturing release
Implement control measures for scope, schedule, cost, and quality, tracking progress through relevant KPIs.
Drive and report on progress, utilizing project metrics for effective problem-solving and decision-making.
Collaborate with stakeholders to manage interdependencies.
Balance engineering resources across projects with the Engineering & Development Director and discipline leaders.
Manage programme changes and communicate impacts clearly to stakeholders.
Identify and manage risks and opportunities to master the Estimate at Completion
Integrate continuous improvement into the programme to enhance delivery efficiency.
Foster a culture of trust and accountability within projects.
Provide training, guidance, and mentorship in project management best practices.Essential Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject.
Recognized Project Management qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM, AgilePM, Scrum, or PMI certification.
5+ years' experience as a qualified Programme Manager or Project Manager managing multiple complex projects.
Experience in managing both software and electronics developments with multi-disciplinary teams.
Proven ability to balance the needs of multiple projects.
Strong commitment to quality and on-time delivery.
Proficiency in Agile methodology.
Familiarity with Microsoft and Atlassian project management tools.
Experience with Lean and EVM methods.
Proven success in developing and transferring new products to manufacturing in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
Understanding of systems, software, electronics, mechanical, or production engineering is an advantage
