Are you ready to take on a rewarding role in the lifting industry? This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading team of professionals delivering high-quality lifting services across various locations.

As a Crane Operator, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and efficient lifting service for customers. Working collaboratively with hire desk staff, project managers, foremen, crane supervisors, and slinger/signallers, you'll ensure every lift is completed to the highest standard, with safety as the top priority.

Trainee - £15.05/hour (starting),
£16.02/hour (post-training, typically 6 months),
£17.06/hour (fully qualified)
24 + 8 days holiday (increasing with time served in the company)

The Candidate;

CPCS Mobile Crane Licence (A60).
CPCS Slinger/Signaller Licence (A40).
Class 2 driving licence.
Familiarity with specific crane models, rigging, maintenance procedures, and documentation.
Proficiency in setting and verifying rated capacity limiters and indicators.
Awareness of the effects of wind and climate on operations and the ability to halt unsafe activities.
A solid understanding of outriggers and their correct usage.
Commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.
Open-mindedness and passion for delivering exceptional service.
Ability to work under pressure while upholding safe practices.
Duties and Responsibilities;

Operate cranes in line with manufacturer instructions and safety standards.
Follow road traffic regulations and ensure safe site practices.
Communicate effectively with the project manager upon site arrival.
Conduct manual handling tasks such as the safe use of outrigger pans.
Safely access and exit cranes using ladders and grab rails.
Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by management.
