Twenty4Seven Education is seeking a full-time qualified, knowledgeable and entrepreneurial Business Enterprise Studies Teacher for an innovative and inclusive 'Good' Ofsted-rated Secondary School in Broadstairs, Kent. From January you will be teaching KS4 pupils BTEC Level 2 Tech Award in Enterprise, on a permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities:

* Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils' well-being following statutory provisions

* Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils

* Prepare and update subject materials

* Plan and teach well-structured differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum and the school's curriculum policy

* Use a variety of delivery methods that will stimulate learning appropriate to student needs and demands of the syllabus

* Assess, record and report on the attendance, progress, development and attainment of students

* Give written/verbal and diagnostic feedback as required

* Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's behaviour policy and to encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work and homework

* Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment following the school's behaviour policy

* Deploy any support staff effectively

* Take responsibility for improving teaching through appropriate professional development, responding to advice and feedback from colleagues

* Communicate effectively with parents and other professionals about pupils' achievements and well-being

Must have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Experience working within an educational setting or similar (minimum of 12 months of experience)

* Excellent subject knowledge

* Child DBS check on the Update Service or willing to pay and apply for a new one (Twenty4Seven Education can assist you with this process)

* Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum

* Read the DfE 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' (2024) document

* Excellent classroom management

* Good communication skills
