About Us:

We are working with a Catholic primary school located in Romford, Havering that is looking for a Year 4 Teaching Assistant. The school is looking for a proactive Year 4 Teaching Assistant who can take initiative and hit the ground running. The successful individual will need strong knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum. In a recent Ofsted inspection in 2023, the school was graded 'good' with outstanding features.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher where required.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.

Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.

Requirements:

Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

Experience: Previous experience working in a Primary School

Knowledge: Understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum

Desirable: Experience working with SEN pupils
