An Assistant Project/Contracts Manager is required for a cladding company to support their projects in Central London.
Important Details:
- Full-time: £40,000 - £45,000 per year
- Benefits: Annual bonus, 25 days holiday, car fuel allowance, pension
- Reporting to: Contracts/Project Manager
Duties:
- Assist the Contracts and Project Manager, with a view to future progression.
- Help manage £2 million project packages, organize schedules, and coordinate labour and materials.
- Communicate effectively with site operatives and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (e.g., CDM, HSE guidelines).
- Maintain quality standards and complete QA documentation.
- Assist in planning work schedules, tracking progress, and preparing reports.
- Adapt to changes and swiftly address challenges like weather disruptions.
Qualifications Required:
- Background in Slating, Tiling, Lead Roofing, or Rainscreen Cladding.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of health & safety regulations and construction methods.
- Competent in Excel; training provided for other systems.
