Stock Controller - Carrington, Machester

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about managing stock efficiently? Join a dynamic warehouse team at Carrington Depot as a Stock Controller and play a crucial role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations!

As the Stock Controller, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the effective management of stock in the warehouse. From recording and controlling stock movements to liaising with key departments, you will be a key player in keeping operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

* Control and monitor all stock within the warehouse, ensuring everything is accounted for.

* Record and manage the receipt and return of products.

* Create pick and delivery notes using the Company's in-house system in collaboration with the Transport Planner.

* Confirm pick reporting on the system as and when completed.

* Liaise with company personnel regarding delivery queries, product inquiries, and other requests.

* Ensure completion of customer-specific delivery requirements, including documents, procedures, and labels.

* Oversee stock movements within the system, ensuring all entries are accurate.

* Ensure stock is reworked and ready when necessary.

* Carry out perpetual and periodical stock counts and investigate any discrepancies.

* Work closely with the Planning Manager to coordinate inbound deliveries.

* Assist with setting up new products and completing stock information sheets.

* Support with warehouse tasks as needed, contributing to a team-oriented environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

* Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally.

* Collaborate with the transport planner, accounts department, and sales team to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Skills We're Looking For:

* IT literacy - proficiency with systems and tools is a must.

* Shipping documentation experience - previous experience in handling shipping paperwork is a plus.

* Warehouse vehicle experience - knowledge of counterbalance, VNA trucks, reach trucks, and powered pallet trucks is advantageous.

* Warehouse administration - previous experience in warehouse admin

* Physical fitness - the role involves manual handling, so being physically fit is important.
