We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Contract Manager to join our team based in the Lymington and surrounding areas. The salary is starting from £50,000 plus £3,000 car allowance, up to 10% bonus and 27 days annual leave.

About the role:

The Senior Contract Manager will cover 4 sites in Farnham Hospital, Queen Marys University Hospital, Lymington NewForest Hospital and. Willesden Center for Health & Care. This role has no direct reports but will be working alongside 7 other Senior Contract Managers and multiple Contract Managers. PFI Senior Contracts Managers play a critical role at NHSPS in the delivery of the PFI portfolio. The successful candidate would be on site 8 days a month but this role is hybrid. Responsible for the operational management of Project Co on behalf of NHS PS. Has overall responsibility for ensuring compliance with the Project Agreement ensuring all engineering and non engineering work is carried out to appropriate standards. They are the conduit/representative between Trusts, Clients and Tenants and the Service Providers/SPV's who deliver services for our customers providing expert specialist (Project Agreement) expertise to Project Co, colleagues, tenants, directors and senior management. Undertake the role of Trust Representative that is a Authorised person as detailed in the Project Agreement. The PFI team is made up of specialists and team contributors, and whilst PFI Senior Contracts Managers will have their own designated contracts, they will operate nationally as a team, using their individual specialist skills and experience to contribute where required.

Duties of this role:
  • Agreeing plans and priorities, cascading organisational information to keep team members connected to what is happening in the wider business
  • Responsible for managing the processes to provide the evidence portfolio to support the PFI Hand-back process in accordance with Infrastructure and Project Authority (IPA) mandated requirements
  • Lead on all PFI activities within the assigned contract portfolio, collaborating with other managers across the business where appropriate
  • Assist with the development/recruitment of a high performing PFI Team
  • To be responsible for embedding change and other organisational initiatives within the assigned portfolio
What you will bring to the role:
  • Minimum of 3 years of PFI experience plus healthcare experience.
  • Experience in monitoring and auditing
  • Commercial contract management background
  • Management of budgets
  • Good organisation and time management
