PMLD Teaching Assistant - Burnley:

Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a teaching assistant with experience supporting complex needs to join a school near to Burnley. This is a full time, long-term position to start after the February half-term.

Although experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting is preferred, any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs is what actually matters for this role.

The Role:

Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
Administering personal care
Providing a supportive and nurturing learning environmentPosition Details:

Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm, Mon-Fri
Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
Start date: After Feb half-term
End date: OngoingExperience, Training & Qualifications:

Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Level 2 qualification in relevant field
Personal or professional experience supporting children with complex needsTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional referencesOTHER
