Teaching Assistant – Special Needs SchoolTeaching Assistants required to provide long-term support for children who attend an outstanding special educational needs school. This school provides excellent support and education for Key Stage 3 & 4 students with a range of complex needs including Autism, MLD, and some physical disabilities.  This role requires a Teaching Assistant with previous SEND experience and who ideally holds the Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.The school benefits from excellent leadership and teachers who are passionate about providing children who have additional needs with an outstanding, nurturing education. You will be joining an experienced team of Teaching Assistants and providing support to classes of 4-6 children.Job Role:
  • Supporting children on a small group basis.
  • Acting as a Teaching Assistant / Classroom Assistant.
  • Working closely with the class teachers to provide the right support.
  • Managing behaviours if required.
  • Understanding a range of special educational needs.
  • Providing consistency and care for children.
  • Making learning fun, engaging, and nurturing.
