Our client is looking for a Customer Sales Consultant to join their dynamic team. This position requires someone based in the Jetpark, Kempton Park, Spartan, Daveyton, or Benoni area.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Service current customers according to a predetermined schedule.
- Update customer information in line with company requirements.
- Generate sales reports and provide feedback to the Area Sales Manager.
- Develop territory through networking, cold calls, and client referrals.
- Ensure timely payment collections and manage credit control.
Key Skills:
- Strong sales acumen with a minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a relevant industry.
- Key account management skills are a plus.
- Knowledge of the metal industry is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Afrikaans is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:
- Matric or equivalent.
- Valid and legal driver's license with no endorsements.
- South African citizen with a clear credit history and no criminal record.
- Fluent in English, with Afrikaans proficiency being an advantage.
