Interim Finance Business Partner - Local Authority

Cedar is currently supporting a local authority in the Midlands who are urgently seeking an Interim Finance Business Partner to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing financial advice and strategic support across various departments.

Key Details:

Day Rate: £500-£550 Inside IR35

Location: Midlands

Place of Work: Hybrid working arrangement, with office attendance once a fortnight

Contract Length: Minimum of 6 months

Main Duties:

Monitor and forecast budgets to ensure financial stability
Set budgets in line with strategic objectives
Advise on new processes and policies to enhance efficiency
Provide finance comments for reports and officer decisions
Offer day-to-day support and guidance to the business

Essential Experience:

CCAB Qualified
Proven experience of working as a Financial Business Partner in a local authority
Excellent stakeholder management skills
