Level 3 Nursery Room Leader

Salary: Up to £31,000

40 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our client's thriving and growing team. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and a deep understanding of child development. As a Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, as well as leading a team of childcare practitioners.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Early Years or above
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of childcare practitioners, providing guidance and support as needed
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to encourage physical, social, and emotional development
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff members
• Monitor and assess children's progress, and report any concerns to parents or guardians
• Maintain up-to-date records and documentation
• Adhere to all regulatory standards and guidelines for childcare facilities
• Contribute to the overall management and development of the nursery
