Hours per week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday - 14:30 - 19:30, 07:30 - 17:00 - 20 hours per week- 1 in 3 Sunday shifts are available.

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Chef De Partie to join our passionate and driven Catering team based at our client’s site.

Prepare and produce daily menu required by the contract.

To provide a consistently high standard of quality food.

Maintain an excellent level of hygiene in all areas of the kitchen and servery areas.

Support & Lead a small team to produce a high standard catering service.

Ensure that all meals are produced to specification and presented to company standard.

Ensure receipt, storage and handling of all food ensures this meets current hygiene legislation.

Ensure smooth running of a small catering outlets across the site.

Deal with daily ordering, weekly stock and any other reasonable tasks required.

Assist with promotional activities on a monthly basis and drive current business forward

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that food is produced to specification and presented to company standard
  • Maintain contract health & safety, and hygiene standards in line with current legislation
  • Ensure that due diligence records are completed and maintained.
  • Adhere to company policy on dealing with customer comments
  • To comply with company and client policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that customers always receive a prompt and courteous service.
  • Ensure personal appearance, including uniform are always of the highest standards in line with company policy.
  • Ensure food percentage targets are met and food costs correctly achieved
  • To be present and customer facing where possible during service
  • Provide regular theme day and pop-up ideas

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent
  • Basic food hygiene level 3
  • Intermediate Food Hygiene desirable
  • Experience in a busy Catering environment
