Overview: We are looking for a Data Engineer to support spacecraft programmes with data management and processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define database control documents, use cases, and processes.
• Test, configure, verify, and update databases; support users and resolve bugs.
• Perform basic software code/script configuration, patches, and retesting.

Required Skills:

• Experience with software applications like Intellij, Java, Gitlab, JIRA, and debugging tools (e.g., MATLAB).
• Knowledge of data protocols (1553, CANbus) and governance (configuration control, validation).
• Strong understanding of data formatting and encoding (e.g., raw to calibrated data, hex/decimal conversions).
• Testing and debugging expertise in software and databases.
