An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Communications Manager with our growing client based at their site based in rural Cambridgeshire and close to Royston. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving company and play a pivotal role in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the company's pioneering products and solutions. The role is offered on a 9-12 Month fixed term contract.

The role

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and supervision of all marketing and communications strategies for the company. As the teams senior marketing professional, the role also plays and important role within the commercial leadership team.

Duties and Responsibilities will include the following areas:

* Plan, recommend and deliver an integrated marketing & communications strategy, across the Sensors and Instrumentation divisions that enhance brands and assists the business in achieving its objectives, vision, and values

* Develop, implement and measure all public and corporate relations activities. Delivering projects and campaigns on time, within budget and to a consistently high quality

* Devise innovative strategies and campaigns to support the sales team, helping to generate high-quality sales leads

* Manage, develop and control the brand in all media, both internally and externally

* Alignment of the company vision, mission, proposition and values with the brand and ensuring effective ongoing communication

* Management and forecasting of the annual marketing & communications budget

* Working with the marketing team to develop integrated marketing campaigns that reach target audiences in the most time and cost-effective manner. All campaigns should be integrated with sales to ensure timely and effective follow-up to maximise return on investment

* Managing the marketing team to deliver a consistent message to employees helping to drive awareness and engagement

* Manage our social media approach and channels, including setting the structure and delivering appropriate training

* Manage all marketing agency relationships

* Managing relationships and communications with global subsidiaries and marketing representatives, overseeing the creation and/or localisation of supportive communications and marketing collateral, Ensuring global branding is uniform and aligned

* Driving regular research and analysis of the competitive environment (brand, products, pricing acquisitions) to understand any impact on marketing plans, and to improve targeting and positioning. Working with Sales and product managers to share and utilise all market intelligence

* Lead an effective strategy for the CRM and marketing platform (currently Hubspot) to ensure effective utilisation and execution

* Identify new marketing opportunities, processes and solutions that solve problems and drive efficiencies

* Leading and inspiring a team of marketing individuals to achieve their full potential. Driving for results that are aligned with the marketing and business strategy

* Setting departmental and individual marketing goals and targets with direct reports and reporting on team goals. Implementing effective reporting tools across the department for the measurement of key marketing metrics and statistics for monthly reporting and analysis

The Person

For this role we are seeking an someone who is looking for a busy and diverse role and the following skills and attributes:

* Expertise in developing integrated communications programs, drawing on all areas of the marketing mix including direct marketing, CRM, Events and digital channels

* Have a high level of organisation and prioritisation skills

* Strong analytical skills, together with the ability to resolve problems and make decisions under pressure

* The Ability to influence at all levels of business and with all stakeholders

* Possess a high level of motivation and initiative

* Expertise in brand management

* Ability to identify key messages, audiences and channels and formulate a communications strategy across them all

* Excellent in building relationships with colleagues internally and externally with agencies, subsidiaries, distributors and suppliers

* Target and results driven

* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications as well as Photoshop, InDesign and Wordpress

* Excellent knowledge and understanding of HubSpot, CRM, Sales, Service and Marketing platforms

Details

This role is offered on a Full-time, permanent basis and the Working hours are 37.5 hours a week: Monday - Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 and Friday 08:30 - 15:45 (with 45 min unpaid lunch).

The salary offered is depending on experience and offers some excellent benefits as well as the opportunity to progress and grow within the business. There are includes regular social events and get-togethers, as well as some great benefits too.
