Rare and exciting opportunity for a Practice Management Executive (PME) to join our team in London. Supporting the TMIC (Technology, Media, IP, Competition) practice group, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operational management of the Practice Group. The role will report into the relevant Head of Practice Strategy & Operations (PGH) for that Practice Group while also supporting the Core Operations Team (Ops Team), and the Team Leaders within the Group with operations management.
About the roleIn this role, you can expect to get involved in a variety of work including:
Practice Operations
- Operational Support: Assist the PGH and Ops Team with managing Practice Group and Team operations.
- Project Management: Oversee and coordinate practice-specific initiatives to ensure successful execution.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong internal relationships and support group forums/committees.
- Talent Management: Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and exits for the Practice Group and Teams.
Practice Administration & Compliance
- Knowledge Management: Support training and knowledge-sharing initiatives with the PSL/PSA and Knowledge team.
- Resource Management: Assist with team resource allocation in collaboration with the Resource Manager and Ops Team.
- Reporting & Data: Act as a central point for retrieving, summarizing, and sharing business data.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to firm-wide policies and deadlines.
Practice Communications & Events
- Events: Manage the social and engagement budget and coordinate team events and CSR initiatives.
- Communications: Maintain internal communication channels, email lists, newsletters, and MS Teams workspaces.

- A Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A willingness to develop professional skills.
- Strong organisation, project and time management skills, with the capacity to prioritise multiple tasks.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks and deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional stakeholder interaction.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant business tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a proactive approach.
- Strong ethics and confidentiality in handling sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Experience in a practice-facing business support role, ideally in legal or professional services is preferred.
- Exposure to international, complex, and matrix-managed environments is preferred.
- Background in supporting change initiatives and operational management is preferred.
